As a past daycare teacher, I will forever be able to recite the Halloween children's poem, 5 Little Pumpkins. In honor of this classic tale of the 5 little spooked pumpkins, I put together this cute assembly of Dollar Tree finds and yard sale treasures. This would be a perfect theme for a children's Halloween party! And, cheap to beat!

This Junk Set Table was done for $15! Seriously! Using lanterns, poster board, crepe paper and a glass vase, I combined them with candle holders found at a yard sale, branches found in my backyard and a yard of orange burlap. Just cut strips from the black poster board and glue or tape together to create the rickety fence. Use the white poster board to cut out a large circle for your moon and print off a silhouette of a witch (found on the internet - just google "witch silhouette") cut out and tape on your moon. My spooky take on Spanish Moss was made by folding up the crepe paper like an accordion. Once your crepe paper is folded just cut triangles out of the sides, being careful to not cut the folded area. Once you have cut enough long strips, drape the paper over the branches. Finish it off by wrapping black crepe paper around the base of your vase to hide the bottom of your branches. Add your smiling pumpkin lanterns to the candle holder to finish it off. Simple and cute.
